Waffles with cherries & advocaat

Ingredients

  • 1 glass (720 ml) Cherries
  • 7-10 Tbsp 1 P. Sauce powder vanilla (for cooking; for 1⁄2 l milk)
  • 7 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 125 g + some soft butter
  • 2 coated Tsp (8 g) Fine seasoning mixture for waffles
  • 3 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 2 1⁄2 deleted Tsp Baking Powder
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 8 TABLESPOONS Egg liqueur
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar

Directions

    Drain the cherries and collect the juice. Fill up to 400 ml with water, bring to the boil. Mix sauce powder, 4 tbsp. water and 2 tbsp. sugar. Stir into the juice and simmer for about 1 minute. fold in cherries, let cool down

    Whip half the cream until stiff. Mix quark and 2 tablespoons of sugar. fold in cream

    Cream 125 g butter, 3 tablespoons sugar and seasoning mixture. Stir in eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with milk and the rest of the cream

    Preheat and grease the waffle iron. Bake about 8 waffles one after the other. Serve with cherries and quark cream. Sprinkle with advocaat and dust with icing sugar
