Peel, wash and chop the potatoes and carrots. Clean, wash and chop the beans and celery. Wash, clean and chop the tomatoes. Heat fat in a pot and fry potatoes, carrots, beans and celery.
Pour in the stock, bring to the boil and cook covered for 15 minutes. Add tomatoes five minutes before the end of cooking time. Remove the sausage meat from the skin in small dumplings and fry in hot oil until golden brown while turning.
Add to the soup and season to taste with salt and pepper.
