Ingredients

  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 1 kg broad beans
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 2 stem(s) or 1/2 tsp.
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried. Savory
  • 2 can(s) (425 ml) big
  • 7-10 Tbsp white beans
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 100 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper

Directions

    Peel, wash and roughly dice the potatoes. Peel and wash fresh beans. Bring 1 l water to the boil in a large pot. Dissolve vegetable stock in it. Cover and cook fresh beans, potatoes and savory for 15-20 minutes

    Put white beans on a sieve, rinse and drain. Shortly before the end of the cooking time, mix into the stew and heat up with

    Peel onions and cut them into rings. Cut the bacon into small cubes. In a frying pan, let it crisply drain and take it out. Fry onions in bacon fat until golden brown

    Season the bean pot with salt and pepper to taste. Remove fresh savory if necessary. Spread onion rings and diced bacon over the bean pot
