Ingredients

  • 1/2 cube (21 g) fresh yeast
  • 3 TABLESPOONS + 50 g sugar
  • 60 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 600 g Apples
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 250 g thickened wild cranberries (from the glass)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS flaked almonds
  • 250 g Schmand
  • 1 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Mix yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar until the yeast becomes liquid. Melt 30 g fat, add milk. Put flour, salt, egg and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Add milk-fat mixture and yeast and knead everything with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Wash and peel the apples, remove the core.

    Cut apples into slices and sprinkle with lemon juice. Melt 30 g fat in a pan and sprinkle 50 g sugar on top. Let it caramelize slightly, steam apple rings in the butter mixture for 1-2 minutes, take them out and let them cool down. Knead the dough once more and roll out round (approx. 28 cm Ø) on a floured work surface. Line baking tray with baking paper, place dough circle on top. Spread with cranberries, spread apple rings on top. Let rest for 5 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-25 minutes. Roast the flaked almonds in a pan without fat until golden brown, take them out and let them cool down. Mix sour cream, 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle almond flakes on the pizza and dust the edge with icing sugar.

    Spread with cranberries, spread apple rings on top. Let rest for 5 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 20-25 minutes. Roast the flaked almonds in a pan without fat until golden brown, take them out and let them cool down. Mix sour cream, 1 tablespoon sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle almond flakes on the pizza and dust the edge with icing sugar. Serve with cinnamon sour cream. Pizza can be eaten warm or cold
