Ingredients

  • 500 g Strawberries
  • 125 g Whipped cream
  • 250 g Schichtkäse (20 % fat)
  • 4 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1 untreated lemon
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1/2 TABLESPOON crushed pistachio kernels
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar

    Wash and clean the strawberries, drain them well and cut them in half as desired. Whip the cream until stiff. Mix pecorino cheese, egg yolk, sugar, lemon rind and vanillin sugar and fold in the cream. Fill strawberries into an ovenproof dish (30 cm Ø), pour the cream-cheese mixture over them and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200°C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the rim with pistachios and dust with icing sugar
