Strawberry cake from the tray with vanilla pudding

Ingredients

  • 250 g soft butter or margarine
  • 325 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 6 Eggs (size M)
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 1 kg Strawberries
  • 1 l Milk
  • 2 packs Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 1 package (75 g) S
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm and chocolate decor leaves

Directions

    Cream fat, 250 g sugar and vanillin sugar. Stir in eggs bit by bit. Add cream and stir until smooth. Mix flour and baking powder and stir into the fat-egg mixture to form a loose dough.

    Grease a baking tray (39x37 cm) and smooth down the pastry. Bake the cake in a preheated oven (electric: 175°C/ gas: level 2) for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, wash, clean and halve the strawberries.

    Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down. Stir 75 ml milk, remaining sugar and pudding powder until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to the boil, stir in the pudding powder and bring to the boil again. Let the pudding cool down a bit, fold in chocolate drops, spread the pudding on the cake and cover with strawberries.

    Decorate the cake with lemon balm leaves and chocolate decor leaves. Makes about 30 pieces.
