Beat the eggs with the whisk of the hand mixer until frothy. Slowly add sugar and salt. Mix flour, starch and baking powder over the egg mixture and fold in. Spread the dough on a fat pan lined with baking paper.
Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes and allow to cool. Wash, clean and possibly chop the strawberries. Whip cream and vanilla sugar until stiff.
Coarsely chop the pistachios. Spread the sponge cake base with cream, spread strawberries on top. Sprinkle with pistachios. Makes about 20 pieces.
