Strawberry-Amaretto Jam

Ingredients

  • 1.4 kg Strawberries
  • 1 package (500 g) "Extra jam sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 2 lemons
  • 5-7 tablespoons (75 ml) Amaretto liqueur

Directions

    Wash, drain, clean and halve the strawberries. Weigh 1250 g fruit

    Mix jam sugar, strawberries and lemon juice well in a large pot. Mash the fruits partially with a potato masher. Bring to the boil while stirring constantly and let it boil effervescently for exactly 3 minutes from the beginning of foaming

    Pull the jam off the stove. Stir in the Amaretto. Fill jam brimful into prepared twist-off jars and close. Let cool upside down
