Spicy cream cheese balls

Ingredients

  • 600 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 40-50 g Pine nuts
  • 1 very small onion
  • 100 g Kasseler cold cuts
  • 7-10 Tbsp parsley, chives and basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp (fresh or dried)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 3 dried tomatoes (in oil)
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Tomato paste
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 1/2 bunch Dill
  • 125 g smoked trout fillets
  • 7-10 Tbsp slightly grated peel of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Horseradish (glass)
  • 6 paper cuffs, basil, tomatoes, dill and untreated lemon peel

Directions

    spread cream cheese in 3 portions on bowls

    With smoked pork and pine nuts: Roast the seeds without fat, remove. Peel onion. Dice onion and Kasseler very finely. Wash parsley and chives, chop finely. Mix half the seeds, onion, smoked pork loin and herbs with 1 portion of cream cheese. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Form into 2 balls. Roll lightly in remaining seeds

    With tomatoes & garlic: Peel garlic. Dab tomatoes dry. Dice garlic and tomatoes very finely. Wash and chop basil. Mix everything with 1 portion of cream cheese, tomato paste and paprika. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Form to 2 balls

    With trout & horseradish: Wash the dill. Cut dill and trout fillets finely. Mix with remaining portion of cream cheese, lemon peel and horseradish. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Shape into 2 balls

    Place cheese balls in cuffs, garnish and chill. Grissini (Italian dough sticks) taste good with it
