Sour cherry walnut tart

Ingredients

  • 8 sheets white gelatine
  • 1 glass (720 ml) Sour cherries
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 3 packages (200 g each) Double cream cream cheese
  • 150 g Skimmed milk yoghurt
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 orange
  • 1 (26 cm ΓΈ) thin sponge cake base
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Almond liqueur
  • 100 g candied walnuts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cherries and lemon balm

Directions

    Soak the gelatine. Drain the cherries on a sieve. Separate eggs. Mix cream cheese, egg yolk, yoghurt, sugar and orange juice. Squeeze the gelatine, dissolve it and fold it into the cream.

    Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the cream. Place the base on a plate. Close the rim of the springform pan. Sprinkle with liqueur. Spread half of the cream on top. Spread nuts and drained cherries on it. Spread the rest of the cream on it. Steer in a cool place for 2 hours. Decorate with cherries and lemon balm.
