Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp fat for the fat pan, 375 g flour
  • 1 package Yeast dough guarantor
  • 50 g + 150 g + 50 g sugar
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch salt, 200 ml milk
  • 75 g soft butter/margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 4 (720 ml each) Glasses of cherries
  • 750 g Low-fat curd, 500 g sour cream
  • 50 g Cornstarch, 10 eggs (Gr. M)
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 2 packages red glaze
  • 7-10 Tbsp Meringue

Directions

    Grease the fat pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm; approx. 3.5 cm deep). Mix flour and yeast dough Garant. Add 50 g sugar, 1 vanillin sugar, salt, milk and fat. Knead everything smooth with the dough hooks of the hand mixer for about 2 minutes. With flour

    dust and roll out on the fat pan. Let it rest for 15 minutes

    Meanwhile drain the cherries and collect the juice. Mix quark, sour cream, 150 g sugar and 1 vanillin sugar. Stir in starch and eggs

    Sprinkle the dough with breadcrumbs. Spread the curd cheese glaze on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: not suitable/gas: level 2) for approx. 25 minutes. Spread half of the cherries on top and continue baking for approx. 25 minutes. Spread the rest of the cherries on top and let them cool down

    Mix cake glaze powder and 50 g sugar. Stir in 1/2 l juice bit by bit. Boil up while stirring. Spoon over the cherries immediately. Cool down. Decorate with crumbled meringue
