Savoy cream soup with salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion, 500 g savoy cabbage
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS butter/margarine
  • 1 heaped tbsp. flour
  • 3-4 Tsp Vegetable broth
  • 75-100 g smoked salmon in slices
  • 200 g Cream cheese with horseradish
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Horseradish shavings

Directions

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Clean and wash the savoy cabbage and cut into fine strips. Heat the fat in a large saucepan. Sauté onion in it.

    Steam the savoy cabbage briefly. Dust with flour and sauté briefly. Stir in 1 l water and stock. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes

    Cut salmon into strips. Lift out about 1/3 of the savoy cabbage. Finely mash the rest of the savoy cabbage in the soup and bring to the boil. Stir in cream cheese in flakes.

    Season soup with salt and pepper. Heat the savoy cabbage strips in the soup. Serve soup with salmon, garnish. Serve with toasted bread
