Sausage ragout with gherkins and peppers in chives-mustard sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 100 g Cervelat sausage in slices
  • 100 g Gherkins
  • 1 Onion
  • 150 g red pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sunflower oil
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 TEASPOON Sauce thickener
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS sweet mustard
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 small bunch of chives

Directions

    Cut slices of sausage into quarters. Cut cucumbers into pieces. Peel onion and cut into slices. Clean, wash and cut the bell peppers into strips. Heat oil, stir-fry sausage, onion and bell pepper for about 5 minutes.

    Remove and keep warm. Pour broth into the pan, loosen the frying set and bring to the boil. Bind with sauce thickener. Season with mustard and pepper. Put the sausage stew back into the pan. Wash chives, shake dry and cut into small rolls.

    Sprinkle the ragout with chives. Potatoes taste good with it.
