Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 bunch Spring onions
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Sauerkraut
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 4-5 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/2-1 TEASPOON Sambal Oelek
  • 2 discs (approx. 80 g) lean cooked ham
  • 7-10 Tbsp some chives

Directions

  1. 1

Clean and wash spring onions and cut into fine rings. Mix sauerkraut with spring onions and oil. Season everything with sugar and let it stand for about 20 minutes

  2. 2

In the meantime, mix soy sauce and Sambal Oelek and fill into small bowls. Roll up the ham firmly and cut into small rolls. Arrange the salad on small plates and spread the ham rolls on top. Add the spicy dip. Garnish with chives if necessary

  3. 3

-4 tbsp. pineapple pieces (canned) give the sauerkraut salad a fruity note

  4. 4

-You can also make a great salad with raw sauerkraut. It is offered loose from the barrel or packaged (e.g. in a health food store). Because it has not been heated, the lactic acid bacteria that promote digestion are still active
