Sandwich cake with almonds

Ingredients

Servings: 20
  • 6 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 200 g + 100 g sugar
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 500 g Sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 400 g Flour
  • 2 packages Baking Powder
  • 125 g butter, 5 tablespoons of milk
  • 100 g whole almonds (e.g. without skin)
  • 100 g flaked almonds

Directions

    Grease a grease pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm). Beat the eggs, 200 g sugar, 1 packet of vanillin sugar and salt until frothy. Stir in sour cream. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in

    Spread the dough on the fat pan. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C / convection oven: 150 °C / gas: level 2) for approx. 15 minutes

    Melt the butter. Stir in 100 g sugar, 1 packet of vanillin sugar and milk. Bring to the boil briefly while stirring. Fold in all almonds, let cool down. Spread the cake with them and bake at the same temperature for another 12 minutes. Let cool off
