Rice pudding with compote

Ingredients

  • 50 g fresh peach (or a. d. glass; with sweetener; suitable for diabetics)
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Sour cherry juice and 50 g sour cherries (a. d. glass; with sweetener;
  • 7-10 Tbsp suitable for diabetics)
  • 7-10 Tbsp plant-based Binders
  • 6 tablespoons (60 ml) milk (1,5 %)
  • 1 pinch salt, 30 g rice pudding
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) Low-fat curd
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few drops of sweetener

Directions

    Cut the peach into small pieces. Boil up cherry juice, 5 tablespoons of water and lemon peel. Remove peel, bind juice. Fold in fruit. Cooling

    Bring milk, 150 ml water, salt and rice to the boil. Cover and allow to swell over low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in quark, cool down. Season to taste with sweetener. Serve. Tastes good as dessert or snack

    Sweetener with improved recipe: in addition to saccharin and cyclamate, now with taumatin, which is extracted from an African fruit. The substance tastes more natural than conventional table sweeteners. Available as liquid sweetener (e.g. 125 ml) or as tablets in a dispenser (500 pcs.), each approx. 2.50 Euro; v. Natreen
