Red fruit jam from cherries, currants, raspberries and strawberries

Ingredients

  • 300 g Cherries
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 250 g red currants
  • 250 g Raspberries
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 kg Gelling sugar (1:1)

Directions

    Wash the cherries, strawberries and currants. Clean strawberries and dice them roughly. Strip the currants from the stalks. Sort the raspberries. Stone the cherries.

    Weigh 1 kg of prepared fruit and mix with lemon juice and sugar. Cover and let stand for 3-4 hours. Bring to the boil while stirring and cook for at least 4 minutes (gelling test!). Pour the hot jam into clean glasses and close them tightly. Put it on the lid for about 5 minutes, then turn it over and let it cool down
