Ingredients

  • 325 g Butter
  • 350 g Flour
  • 375 g + 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 7 ( size M ) Eggs
  • 1 kg Plums
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1.5 kg Low-fat curd
  • 2 packages Pudding Powder " Vanilla Flavor"
  • 100 g Walnut kernels
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cut 200 g butter into pieces. Knead the flour, 175 g sugar, 1 egg and butter with the dough hooks of the hand mixer, finally work into a smooth dough with your hands. Cover the dough and chill for about 30 minutes. Wash and halve the plums and remove stones. Cream 125 g soft butter, vanilla sugar and 200 g sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer.

    Stir in 6 eggs one after the other. Stir in curd cheese and pudding powder as well. Grease the fat pan of the oven. Roll out the dough evenly. Spread the quark mixture on top and cover with the plums. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 45 minutes. Caramelise 4 tablespoons of sugar. Add the walnuts, cover evenly with caramel and place on baking paper. Pull the nuts apart and let them cool down. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool down.

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 45 minutes. Caramelise 4 tablespoons of sugar. Add the walnuts, cover evenly with caramel and place on baking paper. Pull the nuts apart and let them cool down. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool down. Halve the walnuts and sprinkle them on the cake. Cinnamon cream tastes good with it
