Ingredients

  • 800 g Plums
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g demerara sugar
  • 5 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 100 g Icing sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Lemon juice
  • 50 g flaked almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and breadcrumbs
  • baking paper

Directions

    Clean, wash, halve and stone the plums. Grease a springform pan (26 cm Ø) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Cream butter and brown sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer. Separate 2 eggs. Stir in 3 eggs and 2 egg yolks separately. Mix flour and baking powder.

    Alternately stir in the milk briefly. Fill the dough into the form. Place plums close together, slightly sloping. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 1 hour. Let them cool down. Serve dusted with icing sugar. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff. Add icing sugar and lemon juice, stir in. Fill into a piping bag with star-shaped spout. Spray dab onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle these with almond flakes.
