Ingredients

  • 250 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 150 g cold butter or margarine
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 300 g Flour
  • 2 coated Tsp Baking Powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 2 (450 g each) jars of plum jam
  • 50 g sliced almonds

Directions

    For the crumbles, mix flour, sugar, salt and vanillin sugar in a bowl. Cut the fat into cubes. Knead fat and egg yolk into the flour. Put them in a cold place. For the sponge mixture mix fat, salt and sugar until foamy.

    Stir in eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in. Grease baking tray. Put the sponge mixture on top and smooth it down. Spread plum puree on the dough. Spread crumbles evenly over the plum puree. Bake the cake in the preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle almonds over the cake after about 15 minutes baking time. Let the cake cool down and cut into pieces.
