Carve the skin of the peaches crosswise. Place the peaches in boiling water, remove, rinse with cold water and peel off the skin. Cut the peaches in half, remove the stone and cut the flesh into slices.
Cream fat, sugar and vanillin sugar for about 5 minutes. Stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour, almonds and baking powder and stir into the fat mixture alternately with the milk. Spread the dough on a greased baking tray sprinkled with breadcrumbs and cover with the peaches.
Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 40-45 minutes. Take the cake out of the oven and sprinkle with sugar crystals. Let it cool down on a cake rack.
Whipped cream is delicious with it.
