Italian pasta with Spanish fire: This is exactly how our fast pasta with spicy chorizo, onions, peppers and tomatoes tastes. Add a glass of red wine and Monday evening is saved.

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 3 Onions
  • 1 red and yellow pepper
  • 250 g Chorizo
  • 1 can (425 ml) peeled tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 500 g pasta (e.g. bavette)
  • 4 stems Parsley

Directions

    Peel onions and cut them into rings. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into pieces. Cut chorizo into slices. Leave the chorizo slices in a pan without fat until crispy.

    Remove the chorizo slices and half the sausage fat from the pan. Fry the onion rings and peppers in the remaining sausage fat. Deglaze with tomatoes, bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Drain the noodles and let them drain. Fold the chorizo slices into the tomato and paprika sauce. Wash the parsley and shake dry. Pluck the leaves from the stalks and cut them finely. Arrange pasta pan on plates and sprinkle with parsley.
