Ingredients

  • 420 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking soda
  • 1 TEASPOON Salt
  • 400 g Dark chocolate
  • 220 g soft butter
  • 320 g Sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sugar beet syrup
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 package Vanilla sugar

Directions

    Add the flour to a bowl of sieved baking soda and salt and mix everything thoroughly with a whisk. Then chop the chocolate with a kitchen knife or a rolling pin.

    Mix the butter in a bowl until creamy. (remove from fridge before baking) Sprinkle the sugar and beat with the butter until foamy. Add the sugar beet syrup and one after the other the eggs.

    Stir these well in each case. Add the vanilla sugar and mix everything together thoroughly.

    Now gradually add the flour mixture and mix to a smooth dough. Add the chocolate chips to the dough and then fold it in (preferably with your hands). Preheat the oven to 190°.

    Prepare a baking tray with baking paper. Form individual lumps of dough with a diameter of about 4 centimetres from the dough and place them on the baking tray at a distance of about 5 cm from each other and bake for 15 minutes.

    Note: It is better to always prepare 2 trays.
