Nut and pear tart (diabetics)

Ingredients

  • 150 g + some flour (type 1050)
  • 24 g + 3 g diabetic sweetness
  • 100 g + some cold butter or margarine
  • 3 (480 g) peeled and pitted firm pears
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Lemon juice
  • 30 g chopped almonds
  • 50 g Apricot Jam

Directions

    Knead 150 g flour, 24 g sweetness, 100 g fat in pieces and 6-8 tablespoons ice-cold water until smooth. Cover and chill for about 30 minutes. Cut pears into slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Roll out the dough on a little flour until round (approx. 28 cm Ø). Put it into a lightly greased tart tin (approx. 24 cm Ø) and press it 1-2 cm high at the edge. Prick the base several times.

    Spread pears on top. Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 30 minutes. Stir jam until smooth. Spread the pears with it, sprinkle with almonds and bake for another 10 minutes. Cool down. Sprinkle with 3 g sweetness
