Minced rolls in tomato sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1-2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 collar Parsley
  • 500 g mixed mince
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • 500 g Tomatoes
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1/4 l Vegetable broth
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few squirts of lemon juice
  • 50 g anneaux d'olives noires (du verre)
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

    Peel garlic and onions, dice finely. Wash and chop the parsley. Knead minced meat, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, half garlic and half onion. Season with salt and pepper. Form approx. 12 longish meatballs from the minced mass. Possibly put them on wooden skewers

    Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan or grill pan. Fry the meatballs for approx. 6 minutes on each side

    Wash the tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Wash and chop the rosemary. Fry the rest of the garlic and onions in 2 tbsp. hot oil. Add tomatoes, season with salt and steam for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with broth. Season with rosemary, lemon juice and pepper. Add olives and simmer for another 5 minutes. Flavour again. Tastes good with fresh bread
