Liquid pizza with salami

Ingredients

Servings: 7
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • 2 can(s) (850 ml each) Tomatoes
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS clear broth (instant)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Pizza spice
  • 1/2 (approx. 125 g; e.g. ciabatta) ital. White Bread
  • 250 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 collar Basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar

Directions

    Peel onion and garlic. Chop the onion finely. Cut garlic into thin slices

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan. Sauté onion and garlic in it. Deglaze with tomatoes with juice and 3/8 l water, bring to the boil. Stir in broth and pizza spice. Simmer covered at low heat for about 15 minutes

    Cut bread into 12-16 slices. Fry in 3 tablespoons of hot oil from each side until golden brown. Drain mozzarella and dice. Cut salami into slices and add to the soup

    Wash the basil and cut into strips, except for a little to garnish. Season soup with salt, cayenne pepper and sugar. Arrange in plates. Spread the toasted bread and mozzarella on top. Sprinkle with basil and garnish with the remaining leaves
