Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1 small stick of leek or 3 spring onions
  • 1 g (approx. 350 g) Kohlrabi
  • 200 g Potatoes
  • 1 washer (15 g) raw ham without fat edge
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Oil
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Vegetable broth
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Nutmeg

Directions

  1. 1

Clean the leek, wash thoroughly and cut into fine rings. Peel the kohlrabi and put the green aside for garnishing. Wash and chop the kohlrabi. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into pieces

  2. 2

Cut the ham into fine cubes. Fry in a coated pot in hot oil at medium heat. Take out

  3. 3

Briefly fry the potatoes and leek in the ham fat. Pour a good 1/4 l of water and bring to the boil. Stir in stock and simmer covered for 10-15 minutes. Cook the kohlrabi for 5-7 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Sprinkle with ham cubes. Garnish with the kohlrabigrün

  4. 4

The kohlrabi potato pot tastes good even without ham. Then enrich it with 1 teaspoon roasted sunflower or pumpkin seeds. They provide a plus of essential unsaturated fatty acids
