Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 250 g Schmand
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm and strawberries

Directions

  1. 1

Clean, wash, drain and quarter the strawberries. Puree half of the strawberries with a blender. Separate the eggs for the dough. Put the fat, sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar and salt in a mixing bowl and whisk with the whisk of the hand mixer until foamy.

  2. 2

Stir in the egg yolks one after the other. Alternately add flour and milk in portions. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in. Heat up the waffle iron and grease it lightly. Put about 2 tablespoons of dough in the middle of each wafer and bake until golden brown.

  3. 3

In the meantime, place the sour cream, cream and remaining vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl and whisk until almost stiff. Fold in pureed and quartered strawberries.

  4. 4

Dust the wafers with icing sugar, divide them into individual hearts as desired and arrange them on plates with the strawberry cream. If desired, serve decorated with lemon balm and strawberries. Makes about 10 pieces.
