Sort the gooseberries, clean, wash and pat dry. Cream fat, marzipan and 100 g sugar. Stir in 3 eggs bit by bit. Mix flour and baking powder and stir into the fat egg mass with the milk. Spread the dough on a greased and floured baking tray (32 x 38 cm).
Spread the berries on it. Mix sour cream, remaining eggs and sugar. Pour over the fruits and bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 30 minutes. Let the cake cool down and sprinkle with sugar crystals. Results in approx. 16 pieces
