  • 250 g soft butter/margarine
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch salt, 4 eggs (Gr. M)
  • 200 g flour, 100 g cornstarch
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Orange liqueur
  • 2-3 go. tablespoon orange-branch-lade of apricot jam
  • 1 wooden sticks

Directions

  1. 1

Grease a springform pan with tube sheet insert (26 cm Ø) well. Peel and slice the mandarins. Line the bottom and outer rim of the springform pan with this

  2. 2

Cream fat, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour, starch and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk in portions

  3. 3

Fill on the mandarin slices and smooth them down. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for approx. 1 hour (cover if necessary 10 minutes before the end of the baking time)

  4. 4

Let the cake cool completely in the mould. Then carefully turn out of the mould, if necessary prick the top several times with a wooden stick, sprinkle with liqueur. Warm up the jam and pass it through a sieve. Coat the cake with it. Whipped cream tastes good with it
