Wash apples, quarter them, cut out the core. Cut quarter into pieces. Peel, quarter and slice the onions. Caramelize sugar. Add apple and onion pieces, deglaze with apple juice, bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Wash the marjoram and, except for something to garnish, pluck off the leaves and stir in. Peel, wash and chop the potatoes. Cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and collect the water.
Measure out 1/8 litre and add to the potatoes again. Add cream and mash finely. Stir in horseradish and season with salt. Heat oil in a pan. Halve the slices of meat cheese and fry in 2 portions for 3-4 minutes each, turning once.
Arrange 2 slices each of meat loaf, mashed potatoes and stewed apples on plates. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with marjoram.
