Ingredients

Servings: 12
  • 5 Apples
  • 7-10 Tbsp (to 100 g)
  • 125 g Butter or margarine
  • 48 g Diabetic sweetness
  • 7-10 Tbsp pulp of 1/2 vanilla pod
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1 TABLESPOON Apricot Jam
  • 7-10 Tbsp (for diabetics)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

  1. 1

Peel and halve apples, remove core. Cut the round surface of the apple halves several times with a knife

  2. 2

Cream fat, diabetic sweetness and vanilla pulp. Stir in eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder, add with the milk and mix everything to a smooth dough

  3. 3

Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø), smooth down the apple halves and spread on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175°C / fan oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 30-35 minutes

  4. 4

Pass the jam through a sieve and spread it on the cake about 15 minutes before the end of the baking time. Leave to cool completely for serving

  5. 5

You can exchange these ingredients: For the sponge mixture, instead of the diabetic sweetness and the vanilla pulp, prepare 100 g sugar and 1 sachet of vanillin sugar. Use normal sweetened apricot jam for the spread
