Dinner for One; 4th course: Fruit (colourful fruit salad with ginger cream)

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 200 g blue seedless grapes
  • 2 small apples and pears
  • 2 Kiwis
  • 2 small bananas
  • 1 Pomegranate
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Honey
  • 1 hazelnut-sized piece of ginger
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sugar
  • 6 Physalis to decorate

Directions

    Pluck the grapes from the stalks, wash and halve them. Wash apples and pears, quarter them and remove seeds. Peel kiwis and bananas. Cut everything into bite-sized pieces. Cut open the pomegranate and remove the seeds as desired. Mix the prepared fruit with honey and leave to marinate

    Peel and finely chop the ginger. Beat cream and sugar until stiff, stir in ginger. Arrange fruit and ginger cream, decorate with turned-up physalis. James serves a dry port wine with it
