Wash or peel the cucumber well and cut into thin slices. Halve the melon. Scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Cut out small balls from the halves with a ball cutter or remove the flesh from the skin and dice.
Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the lemon and grate the peel finely. Squeeze lemon. Mix buttermilk, oil, onion and lemon peel. Season with lemon juice, salt, pepper and sugar
Arrange cucumber slices and melon balls on plates. Spread some dressing over them. Sprinkle with pepper. Wash the parsley and remove the leaves. Garnish salad with parsley. Serve with fresh white bread
