Ingredients

  • 250 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 30 g ground almonds without skin
  • 125 g Butter
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 200 g Icing sugar
  • 1 Protein
  • 7-10 Tbsp some lemon juice
  • 250 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Food colouring
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Sieve the flour onto the work surface, make a depression in it and add 1 pinch of salt, vanillin sugar, sugar and almonds. Mix everything. Add butter in pieces and egg and knead to a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and chill for about 20 minutes

    Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out 25-30 cookies (firs, hearts, squares, circles, stars, etc.) from the dough. Knead the dough again and again, roll out and cut out. Line 1-2 baking trays with baking paper, place cookies on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 10 minutes one after the other. Take out and let cool down

    For the icing, sieve icing sugar and add egg white. Mix to a thick glaze, possibly dilute with some lemon juice. Pour the icing into several bowls, colour as desired (e.g. light red, dark red, orange) and spread on the cookies. Leave to dry for 1-2 hours
