Ingredients

Servings: 20
  • 75 g butter/margarine
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 3-4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cube (42 g) fresh yeast
  • 400 g + some flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 1.5 kg Plums and prunes

Directions

  1. 1

Melt the fat at low heat. Warm milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar lukewarm. Crumble yeast into it and dissolve it. Mix 400 g flour, 1 pinch of salt and lemon zest in a bowl. Add yeast milk, liquid fat and egg and knead until smooth. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes

  2. 2

Grease a fat pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm; at least 3 cm high) and dust with flour. Wash the plums, cut them in half lengthwise and stone them. Knead the dough again, dust with flour, roll out on the fat pan and press up the edges by 2-3 cm. Cover and let rise for about 20 minutes.

  3. 3

Place the plums on the dough in the shape of roof tiles, close together. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for approx. 45 minutes. Sprinkle with 2-3 tablespoons of sugar. Let cool off. Cream tastes good with it
