Chops with cheese crust

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 4 Pork chops (about 180 g each)
  • 600 g Frozen French beans
  • 150 g Swiss cheese (e.g. Gruyère or Appenzeller)
  • 80 g cooked ham
  • 1 egg, 1 onion (size M)
  • 1 TABLESPOON butter/margarine

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes

    Heat the oil in an ovenproof pan. Wash the chops, dab dry and fry for about 5 minutes on each side, season. Cook the beans in salt water for 10-12 minutes

    Grate cheese, dice ham. Mix with whisked egg. Spread over the chops. Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes until golden brown

    Peel and chop the onion. Heat the fat. Steam onion in it until transparent. Drain the beans and toss them. Arrange everything
