Chocolate-nut slices with vanilla cream

Ingredients

  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  • 10 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 160 g Sugar
  • 5 sachets Vanillin sugar
  • 160 g soft butter/margarine
  • 400 g ground hazelnuts
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Amaretto liqueur
  • 1000 g + 200 g whipped cream
  • 3 Pckch. Sauce powder "Vanilla"
  • 400 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 100 g Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Strawberries
  • 60 g Couverture
  • 1 coated tablespoons of cocoa
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chocolate dessert decor and
  • 2 TABLESPOONS gem. pistachios to decorate

Directions

    Grease the fat pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm) and dust with flour. Grate chocolate finely. Separate eggs. Cream sugar, 1 sachet vanilla sugar and fat. Stir in the egg yolks one by one. Mix the chocolate, nuts and baking powder, alternating with liqueur. Beat the egg white until stiff, fold in portions

    Spread the dough on the fat pan. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes. Let them cool down

    Quarter the dough sheet so that 4 rectangles of equal size (approx. 16 x 18 cm) are formed. Cut 1 x horizontally through each. Whip 1000 g cream until stiff in portions, while pouring in 4 sachets of vanilla sugar and sauce powder. Spread 3/4 vanilla cream on lower dough plates. Place upper plates on top. Spread the rest of the vanilla cream on top. Chill for about 30 minutes.

    Knead the marzipan and icing sugar, cut into quarters. Roll out each quarter rectangularly (approx. 16 x 18 cm) between cling film

    Wash the strawberries, dab dry, cut in half. Chop the chocolate coating, melt in a hot water bath. Dip the berries halfway. Leave to dry.

    Place 1 marzipan plate on 1 dough plate, dust with cocoa and cut into approx. 8 pieces. Beat 200 g cream until stiff. Decorate slices with cream, berries, decoration and pistachios
