Wash, stalk and stone the cherries. Cream fat, sugar and vanillin sugar. Stir in eggs bit by bit. Mix flour and baking powder. Stir the milk into the fat egg mixture. Fold in cherries
Pour the dough into a greased tart, pie or springform pan (28 cm Ø) sprinkled with semolina. Roughly chop the chocolate and sprinkle over it. Bake the dough in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for approx. 35 minutes. Take out and let cool down. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
