Ingredients

  • 1 glass (370 ml) Sour cherries
  • 125 g Butter or margarine
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 185 g Flour
  • 1/2 package Baking Powder
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 50 g Chocolate flakes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and breadcrumbs

Directions

    Drain the cherries. Cream fat, sugar and vanillin sugar. Stir in eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk. Stir in chocolate flakes and cherries. Grease the baking tray (12 troughs) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

    Pour in the dough. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 20-30 minutes. Remove and let cool on a cake rack for about 5 minutes. Turn out the cake and let it cool down. Dust with icing sugar
