Onion peel, halve and in fine cubes cut. Knead minced meat and onion, season with salt and pepper. Form small balls. Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions.
Wash, peel and slice the carrots. Clean, wash and cut leek into rings. Clean, clean and slice the mushrooms. Heat oil in a pan, fry meatballs on all sides until brown, remove from the pan.
Fry the vegetables in the still hot pan for approx. 5 minutes, turning them over, and season with Chinese spices, soy sauce and salt. Fill up with vegetable stock, bring to the boil, add meatballs and leave to stand for approx. 15 minutes.
Serve with rice as a side dish.
