Chicken legs on sweet-sour vegetables

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4-6 Chicken legs (approx. 175 g each)
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Chinese 5-spice blend
  • 5-6 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 red, green and yellow peppers
  • 1/2 (approx. 300 g) Chinese cabbage
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 garlic clove, pepper
  • 1/2 (100 ml) bottle sweet-sour sauce
  • 1 TABLESPOON Sesame
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mung bean sprouts

Directions

    Wash the legs, pat dry and cut in half. Mix the spice mixture and 3 tbsp. soy sauce. Spread the legs with it. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Fry the legs in it for about 30 minutes

    Clean, wash and cut the peppers and Chinese cabbage into strips. Peel and chop onion and garlic

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Sauté onion and garlic in it. Fry the peppers for about 3 minutes. Fold in Chinese cabbage, fry briefly and season with pepper. Add sweet-sour sauce and 1/4 l water, bring to the boil. Season to taste with soy sauce

    Roast sesame seeds lightly. Arrange chicken legs on the sweet and sour vegetables. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and possibly bean sprouts. Served with: rice

    Drink: cold beer
