Cherry cream slices from sheet metal

Ingredients

Servings: 24
  • 1.5 kg Sour cherries
  • 250 g Butter or margarine
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 7 Eggs (size M)
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 4-5 Tbsp Milk
  • 500 g Schmand
  • 75 g flaked almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Clean, wash and stone the cherries. Cream fat, 250 g sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Stir in 4 eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder. Alternate with the milk and stir into the egg mixture.

    Grease the fat pan of the oven (32 x 39 cm). Put the dough on top and smooth it down. Spread cherries on top. Mix 3 eggs, 100 g sugar and sour cream well. Pour over the cherries and sprinkle with almonds.

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool off. Whipped cream tastes good with it.
