Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour
  • 1 kg (à 720 ml) fresh or 2 glasses of sour cherries
  • 200 g Cherry Jam
  • 300 g Fine dark chocolate (70 %)
  • 250 g Butter
  • 350 g Flour
  • 2 heaped Tsp baking powder
  • 450 g Sugar
  • 1 Package
  • 7-10 Tbsp Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7 Eggs (Gr. M)

Directions

    Grease a fat pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm; approx. 3.5 cm deep) and dust with flour. Wash the cherries, remove the stalks and stone them. Stir jam until smooth, mix with the cherries. Break chocolate into pieces, dice butter. Melt both in a hot water bath and let them cool down a little

    Mix flour and baking powder. Pour chocolate butter into a mixing bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt, flour mixture and eggs. Mix everything with the whisks of the hand mixer

    Spread on the fat pan. Spread cherries on top. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for approx. 35 minutes. Cool down. Serve with ice cream
