Drain the cherries well. Cream fat, sugar and vanillin sugar. Stir in eggs bit by bit. Mix flour and baking powder. Stir into the fat egg mixture together with the milk.
Fold in the cherries. Put the dough into a greased tart or pie dish (29 cm Ø) sprinkled with semolina and smooth it down. Roughly chop the chocolate and sprinkle over it. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 35 minutes.
Let it cool down. Shortly before serving, whip the cream until stiff, fill into a piping bag with a star-shaped spout and squirt onto the cake as dots.
