Ingredients

  • 300 g Flour
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 10 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 5 Apples
  • 2 packages (250 g each) ready-to-bake poppy seed filling
  • 500 g Schmand
  • 2 packages Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 1 kg Low-fat curd
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Whipped cream and poppy seed
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film

Directions

    Cut butter into pieces. Knead the flour, 100 g sugar, 1 egg, butter and 1 pinch of salt first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer, then with your hands to a smooth shortcrust pastry. Wrap in foil and chill for about 30 minutes. Wash the lemon, grate dry and thinly grate half of the peel. Halve the lemon and squeeze it. Wash and quarter apples and remove core.

    Cut apple quarters into small cubes and sprinkle with 2 tbsp. lemon juice. Stir poppy seed mixture, 250 g sour cream, 4 eggs and 1 sachet of custard powder until smooth. Fold in apple cubes. Mix quark, 250 g sour cream, lemon zest, 250 g sugar and vanillin sugar. Stir in 5 eggs individually. Stir in 1 packet of pudding powder and 2 tbsp. lemon juice. Grease the fat pan of the oven (32 x 39 cm). Roll out the shortcrust pastry on the fat pan and prick several times with a fork. Spread the poppy seed mixture evenly on the shortcrust pastry base. Carefully spread the cheese mixture on top and spread loosely.

Cut the cake into 24 pieces and decorate with cream tuffs and poppy seeds
