Knead flour, icing sugar, 250 g butter in pieces, salt and 1 egg with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Then knead with your hands to a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and chill for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile melt 150 g butter, cool down again, drain mandarin oranges. Grease the fat pan of the oven (32 x 39). Roll out dough on a floured work surface in the same size. Place in the fat pan, press down and prick several times with a fork.
Pre-bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 12 minutes. In the meantime mix melted butter, sugar, cream cheese and quark. Stir in 4 eggs, semolina, lemon juice and pudding powder. Fold in mandarins. Spread on the dough and bake for another 45-50 minutes. Sprinkle with brown sugar while still hot and allow to cool
