Ingredients

  • 1 kg Cherries
  • 150 g Butter
  • 625 g Flour
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Latte Macchiato (flavoured beverage powder with soluble bean coffee)
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 ml Oil
  • 150 ml Mineral water
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Wash the cherries, except for some for decoration, pit them. Melt butter. Mix 375 g flour, drink powder, baking powder, 200 g sugar, vanillin sugar, salt, oil, mineral water and eggs with the whisks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Spread it on a greased baking tray (37 x 32 cm). Spread cherries on top.

    Knead 250 g flour, 150 g sugar, lemon zest and melted butter with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Form into crumbles with your hands and sprinkle over the cherries. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool and serve decorated with whipped cream and cherries
