Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 1 glass (720 ml) Cherries
  • 600 g Flour
  • 11/2 parcel Baking Powder
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 500 g Orange-flavoured fruit buttermilk
  • 1 package (75 g) Chocolate Drops
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint and cherry jam
  • 250 g Quark , 6 tablespoons of milk (e.g. buttermilk quark)

Directions

    Grease the fat pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm; approx. 3.5 cm deep). Drain the cherries. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Add eggs and buttermilk and mix with the whisk of the hand mixer to a smooth dough. Fold in chocolate drops and cherries. Pour on the fat pan and smooth it down

    Bake in the preheated oven (electric range: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for approx. 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately pour the liquid cream over it evenly. Let it cool down

    Dust the cake with icing sugar. Decorate with mint and jam. Mix quark with milk and add
