Ingredients

  • 175 g Butter
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 400 g Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1 untreated lemon
  • 1 package (7 g) Dry yeast
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 120 g Diabetic sweetness
  • 130 g Almond slivers
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    Melt 50 g butter. Add milk. Mix flour, salt, lemon peel and yeast. Add egg, 40 g diabetic sweetener and milk-fat mixture. Mix to a smooth dough with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes

    Spread the dough on a greased baking tray (35 x 40 cm). Cover and leave to rise for about 15 minutes. Dice the rest of the fat and press it into the dough at regular intervals. Sprinkle with almonds and 80 g diabetic sweetener. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 ° C / gas: level 3) for approx. 20 minutes
